AUGUST, HOLIDAYS IN MONFERRATO

Lover of culture? Monferrato is your ideal destination for the summer 2017.

Casale Monferrato, the capital of this area welcomes you with guided tours of the city and the Civic Museum (August 3rd and 31st, on the latter date you will also visit the Synagogue) but also the antique market and the Farmer Market (August 13), Tennis in the square (September 2) and the visit to the exhibitions inside the Monferrato Castle: "Casale and Monferrato in the pencil of Lele Luzzati" (until September 3), "The Beautiful Trail", retrospective of Pietro Pit Piccinelli (until September 24). In Casale will also take place the special event of the Attraverso Festival (September 10th) with photographic exhibitions, gastronomic stands Km 0 and the Paolo Bonfanti Band that will perform at the Eternot Park in "Zero Emissions Blues", concert powered by only muscular energy of bicycles. 

The Attraverso Festival will allow guided tours in Terruggia (26th and 27th August and 2nd and 3rd and 9th and 10th September). But if you love art there are also many opportunities throuout the territory: in Moncalvo, until July 30, the Civic Museum hosts the exhibition dedicated to Giorgio Piacenza Dassu and (from August 5 to October 1) will welcome the works of Giovanni Buschini, in Vignale Monferrato, until September 30, three exhibitions will take place: "Drawing Landscape", with the sculptures by Maria Grazia Abbaldo and Paolo Arbetelli, "Night lives, bunches of light", with photographs of Enzo Isaia and "Filari di luce" and the photographs by Alberto Maffiotti) while in Pecetto di Valenza it will be possible to visit the temporary exhibition of fossils and minerals (July 29, August 5, August 12, August 19, August 26 and September 2) and in Breme, on July 30 August 27, will take place the "Romanesque in Lomellina".
