If you've opted for an August in Monferrato you will have the embarrassment of choice between so many and different events that will take place between the end of July and the September in the countries between the Po plain and the Unesco wine hills. Some examples? Music will be the protagonist of concerts, festivals and entertainment, but traditions will also be a top topic with fairs, markets across the Monferrato. The summer brings a plenty of food festivals and the desire to gather in the open air and to taste wines and characteristic specialties (some festivals are dedicated to the pepper and the blonde onion).
