Truffle 

Truffle Fairs in the Monferrato area: Cella Monte and Murisengo

Autumn in Monferrato means Truffle Fairs.

Not to be missed for those who love truffles the one in the village of Cella Monte and the one in the village of Murisengo.

The White Truffle Fair in Cella Monte takes place on the 5th and 6th November. Taste typical local dishes enhanced by the unique truffles aroma. It is also possibile to visit the Infernot, typical cellars dug into a sand stone that is present only in the Monferrato area and for this reason the Infernot are a Unesco World Heritage Site. Moreover, music along the streets of the village.

The National Truffle Fair "Trifola d'Or" in Murisengo, instead, takes place on the 13th and 20th November. It is possible to eat as a truffle seeker with dishes rich in truffles (it is necessary to book in advance). Those who love sport and nature can rent an e-bike or take part in a guided walking tour in order to visit the area by bike or on foot. Moreover, music and shows for children.
